The Inter-professional Association Sudvinbio was born in 1991, initiated by winegrowers practicing this form of agriculture, in order to collectively promote their wines.
Today Sudvinbio is accepted by all professional and public authorities as an active and dynamic association which - through its actions - has widely contributed to the notoriety of organic wines from Languedoc-Roussillon as well as those in other producing regions and countries.
Created in 2007, it then featured more than 2,000 organic wines crafted from all corners of the world. Each year, an increasing number of organic wine producers from both France and abroad eagerly participate in what has become the world's most significant organic wine tasting even!
Over the past three years, the contest has opened its doors to international organic beers, and now boasts 150 organic beers.
